Ingredients
- 1 whole mamey or 14 oz. frozen mamey pulp
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk or to taste
- 2 cup ice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- pinch cinnamon
Preparation
- Start by cutting the mamey fruit, you want to cut it the same way you would an avocado. Discard the seed and skin. If using frozen mamey pulp, cube to get it into the blender.
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If you want it sweeter, add more sweetened condensed milk or sugar.
Notes: You can find the frozen mamey pulp or fresh fruit in your favorite Hispanic bodega or in the Hispanic aisle at your local grocery store.
